Tidus has the fastest speed in the game. And then he himself casts haste on party members. This alone makes him one of the best characters. But then when you add in skills like Armor Break and his super high accuracy, he basically becomes your dedicated attacker for everything except flying enemies, which Wakka takes out.

She's no good. She's from FFX. She's also useless and the puns are really bad. She only emotes during her "Complete atonement!" line towards Yunalesca. Incredibly boring and failed to establish her niche as a silent, depressed goth, since Square used her for exposition all the time. You could actually do quite a bit worse, but she's middle of the pack in terms of FF.
