Is eSports ready for the mainstream?

CSGO is on TBS right now as we speak. It already is mainstream.
Quickly /v/! What is the most obscure hobby that I'll never have to worry about selling out to mega-corporations, the mainstream, and the SJW's?

I got al excited because I thought the show would be about a bunch of different games and tournaments, but it is just some shittily produced csgo tournament with an audience that constantly shouts USA USA USA even if none of the teams are billed as American.
The explanations and color commentary needs work, the constant action cuts need work, and the format of competition needs work, but I am glad that esports is trying to go full-normie again.

This is so fucking stupid, but on the other hand it gives third worlders a chance to escape their hellhole of a life so I guess it isn't all that bad.

because the people who do it do it for enjoyment. It is about the purity of the activity.
I bety half the people who do it are part of a coop and have weird hippy communes somewhere.
