The industry has gotten more savvy and aware.
I'm thinking the reason Horizon and Nier both got pushed to 2017 is because they overlap with FF15's demographic ("mature" action/rp fans) too much and they want to avoid that.
But with that said, that 2001 list is just absurd. Don't think we'll have a line up line that ever again.
