Obviously not even a proper comparison. Microshit is making insane amounts of money in the business sector. Their main audience is not consumers, it is businesses who use their solutions. That isn't to say they don't have a ridiculous monopoly in the consumer market as well (Windows).
Sony sells electronic consumer devices mainly to consumers. TVs, smartphones, their consoles, cameras and similar apparatus. Their main target is consumers, which isn't as lucrative. The same goes for Nintendo, but unlike Sony again, they are purely focused on the consumers, not businesses in any way shape or form.
So no shit Microfuck wins that. Their product span is unmatched. They have thousands of solutions that aren't even close to gaming related. I bet a single digit of M$' income is from Xbox and Windows gaming.

It's a business strategy, and buying Sony who are not going to make them billions, are not worth buying for that price. Not to mention that Microsoft is a fucking software company, it says so in the damn name. Sony is doing mostly hardware, with some entertainment on the side. Plus, the entertainment industry is not as lucrative as the business sector.
