1 - One is a gameplay video and the other is largely promotional "the making" video with a few cutscenes and minimal gameplay
2 - You haven't played either so at best you can talk about what you think visually (in the case of the JRPG, you can also speculate mechanics and OST) , and both look fine in those regards so far.
3 - Both are ACTION rpgs, so the fact they also have a focus on those "flash and boom" elements is not only expected, but encouraged.
If you want a bigger focus on strategy and planning, play a turn-based rpg, or better yet, a fucking Strategy game.
