And there's hardly a reason to play a Paladin in that game anyway. Paladins in the enterety of Infinity Engine game library are nothing but gimped fighters, even newer installments of D&D rule based games did not fix that issue, in NwN 1 or 2 you take two paladin levels for anti fear, cha modifier to saving throws and disease immunity. Get Warband - it alone is good enough and is the prime platform for mods of all kinds. Butterlord will not be coming soon, so forget about that for the time being. There are several mods I can recommend. Phantasy Calradia for your typical high fantasy experience, with one but - you can play as a necromancer and eventually become a lich. Perisno for low-med fantasy with some leftovers of an age of great magic. It's hard as balls though, so postpone it. Absolutely merciless towards a newcomer. Prophecy of Pendor is low fantasy - no magic is left, elves retreated into utter seclusion and are hostile to everyone. Warsword Conquest is based on Warhammer Mark of Chaos, you're welcome to Khorne it up, or be a Tomblord but the mod is unfinished. Gekokujo for the Japan experience. My suggestion is to play unmodded for a while to get your bearings and understand how the game works. Read some faq's here and there, e.t.c.
