I've seen the videos. That is not full-speed. The sound is also broken, and there are visual glitches out the ass. They're getting closer, but Mario Kart 8 doesn't even rely on the gamepad for anything. Mario Maker, the new Zelda, Star Fox, and plenty of others would require the emulation of a second screen or the ownership of a gamepad.
All in all, there's still a lot of work to be done. It took years before Dolphin was viable for anyone without an absolutely top-tier rig.

No, I think Neptunia games are fairly decent and its interesting to see the games improve between entries, although I haven't played much beyond Neptunia Re;Birth 2 and have only seen pictures and listened to music from Megadimension VII.
I like how your effectiveness in combat depends on the placement of your characters on the battlefield. If you smudge your characters too close together for instance you're more susceptible to having your whole party fucked over instead of just one character. I also like how if you know what you're doing, you can avoid grinding by using money wisely to buy adequate equipment. Money is scarce enough when you aren't grinding that you have to make careful choices when purchasing equipment, as they can have a drastic effect on how well you do in harder fights, particularly boss fights. Also I like lolis and like the music, especially in the later games.
