I think I enjoyed Twilight Princess the most, specifically the HD version.
Loved the dungeons, great variety. That ice mansion was fantastic, as was the sand palace one.
Really liked the atmosphere and the art style. The bad guys looked really creepy.

Puzzles just work much better in 3D than they do in 2D. There's just so many ways to interact with things in 3D that a 2D game cannot hope to ever achieve. ALBW is about as good as puzzle solving in 2D Zelda games get, but that's only because of it's wall walking(not sure what to call it?) mechanic. If this mechanic made it's way into a 3D Zelda game, then I feel they could get more creative and varied results than they were able to in 2D. Combat may be more simple and easy to do in 2D Zelda's, but like story in a porno, it's not what I'm there for.

ALBW is more like kinda 2.5D actually, even when you're not a painting, because there's real depth between floors. You can drop through a hole in the ground and end up on a lower floor while still within the same loading zone. 2D Zelda games could only accomplish this by using 2D layers and hiding the layers that are above you.

The top down view means that the games never have to choose (or make the player choose) what to prioritize via camera angle. I just think it makes for tighter, more compelling pacing.
