I've never seen a fanbase so willing to make excuses for a developer that has so consistently failed to deliver. The notion that Obsidian might actually just not be that good a developer is utterly incomprehensible to them, it MUST be the rest of the world that is at fault. Every Obsidian game I have ever played has been blatantly unfinished, excessively buggy and not well designed in regards to gameplay.
I used to be one of those "It's all the publisher's fault. If only they gave them more time..." guys but after shit like Alpha Protocol and the infamous Obsidian dev's rant and reading interviews where Feargus Urquhart said crap like they don't consider gameplay or bug fixing to be as important as the writing at Obsidian and gamers should stop acting so entitled and just be happy with what they get I have to accept now they are just a plain old shitty dev.
