Back when the Witness came out and chatter about it was happening, Austin made reference a couple times to how he's writing something about how much he disagrees with the audio logs of The Witness. Here's a podcast he was on where he talks about his issues in brief (big game spoilers):

From what I understand, he believes that the main point of the Witness' "story" is that science and reasoning solves all of the world's problems, which he strongly disagrees with because it doesn't account for sociology-related problems. Of course, being the black poser he is, police brutality is an example he gives of this.
What he doesn't seem to get, however, is that many of the games audio logs actually contradict with each other, making the "story" of the Witness, if anything, simply about the many different ways people think about and try to understand the world around them. Austin just narrows down too much on the audiologs he doesn't like, which is probably a sign as to how closed-minded he is.
