Disgaea DLC is just extra characters, it's not like you have to buy all of them for the complete experience. The game has 40 something classes and Disgaea is known to be playable for well over 300 hours.

Console gamers have a different mentality than PC gamers. They don't care that it's cheaper to be on PC in the long run, consoles have a lower barrier to entry and are more convenient and are good media boxes. I'm a PC gamer myself, but consoles are never going to die because of that.

NIS devs have stated multiple times that D5 is literally too much for the PS Vita to handle.
Here's a standard Disgaea sprite sheet, the Vita has to load all of these at the same time due to Disgaea's animations requiring several different ones. Now multiply that by around 20 or so, along with the stage, music, sound effects, ect that's the average fight on Disgaea 4 on Vita.

There's over 100 characters on screen, this would basically melt the Vita, and fuck up a PS3. NIS devs were telling the truth when they said they can't fit D5 on Vita.

It's been in developer's hand longer than Scorpio, which was a secret according to Bethesda's president, he didnt tell his dev teams about it at all. Of course they must've heard through rumors, but they never gave any feedback or touched a Scorpio
PS4neo was leaked from devs talking to each other. It was already in the feedback stage and I'm 100% sure 1st parties have already been testing it out just like the did the PS4 very early on.
If MS is releasing Scorpio by Q4 2017, Sony will be more than ready to do the same.
You are also implying Scorpio was ready to be shown off, which it wasn't and it didn't. The concept of scorpio was revealed, not the hardware itself. Sony simply chose not to talk about it at E3, but they confirmed its presence.

Well, I don't think it's a bad thing if they start making game compatibility like smartphones. Ie: all future consoles will be able to play all games from all the way back until the original Xbox One/PS4, and your console will be able to play games going forward for as long as devs support your hardware (and Microsoft/Sony would probably mandate that new games run on hardware at least 5 years old or something).
