Widowmaker is better counter. Junkrst sucks at killing torb in common 6 torb stack maps. They are too high or you have to enter site of multiple tirrets to hit them and you cant kill the torb which means he just drops another turret instantly. Widowmaker is only true counter since you can kill the turrets AND the torb and force him to respawn and walk back. 2 or 3 widows end the torb threats in seconds. Junkrats sit behind cover trying to angle a shot and he just repairs through it or repositions slightly and 6 torbs and turrets still raping you.

I dunno, the pub experience has pretty much wholly turned me off of playing Overwatch. I don't think I've ever started it up in a week or so.

Bastion can be effective, especially at some maps at the start where the enemy team isn't going to expect running into you plopped in a corner. His recon mode gun isn't too shabby and he can self sustain with heals. Plus you can sit on payloads and mow down idiots if you have a Rienbro and the other team hasn't caught on and switched up their comp to deal with you.
Chances are there is a Widow on the other team so all of that aside from Rienbro makes Bastion a free kill.
Torb can do the same thing on payload maps where you can throw your turret on the payload as an annoying distraction during team scuffles and shit out armor like healthpacks in the carnage. Molten Core on top of a payload can be really effective if the other team is tied up with your team and can't deal with you.

ALWAYS, not even kidding, always someone going hanzo, and more than half the time one is going genji. Twenty characters to pick from, and there are always these two useless motherfuckers dicking around showing katanas and arrows up their own asses.
Any time I see a hanzo and genji I just switch to my least played hero and try to get some experience in it because I sure know jack shit is getting done.

It's true, Symmetra a shit.
Or maybe it's less Symmetra and more the people who are picking her aren't very good with her and aren't on a coordinated team with microphones. But it always feels like we're down a player, I rarely ever see the teleporters and when they do show up whatever point we're defending is almost completely capped so the teleporter stays up for a few seconds before our spawn gets moved or it gets destroyed. So all we're left with is her turrets and shields, the later of which they usually forget to give out after the initial spawn wave. The turrets themselves die super easily and usually only cover one route she's camping, which smart teams just ignore and go 6 vs 5 of us on the other routes and push through.

His ult does nothing, easily avoidable, trying to plonk enemies away from a distance doing very little, sometimes his scatter arrows hit, he's fragile and shit at close range, easy kills against him, counters basically no one, provides nothing to the team, is a waste of a team slot.
Almost anyone is more useful than a Hanzo. When you play with him you have to forget that he even exists, he's barely even noticable in game when you're trying to push and he's just dicking around with his slow firing speed and hoping for lucky shots.
He's so fucking useless that a lot of the time I don't even bother going over to kill him in whatever butthole he crawled itno, just reposition or group back up.

He's shit for teams with lots of tanks, namely Reinhardt, D.va and Winston. Same with Zenyatta, his healing is only really good for the non tank characters since they only have like 200 HP or some means of healing themselves. The three 500 HP characters can't heal themselves, and if they're low on HP all you can do is amp it up and then wait around for them to slowly heal back to full, which takes an eternity.

There's something fishy with ults recently, since last patch.
Don't get me wrong, a good hanzo is somewhat of a credit, but still pretty damn useless, a Pharah can do as much as he does and more. He adds absolutely nothing to the team, even if he's picking off a person or two on the regularly... all of the other fucking classes do as well, and they help the team, and are on point with the fucking objective, are close to the healers for survivability, are there to help out in a pinch, they can cancel other characters ults, or help push etc.

He's useless because the people are useless. In the hands of a good character he's team buffer, nothing more, absolutely nothing more. All other classes can handle the counters Hanzo players seem to 'counter', solider can take out bastions and turrets, so can Pharah, even non nipers can take out snipers easily, and be a credit to the team with their utilities. Hanzo is just not a team player character at all, nor an objective based character. Best he could ever hope for when up close is a 1v1 so he can shoot the ground every 10 seconds.

Said ult is easy to avoid but sometimes if you're stuck in a corner you're just fucked, and it never fucking stops until it goes right off the map.
