The DLC didn't patch it, and JP v1.00 doesn't have any of the bugs listed. JP v1.00 also has super hard Yomi, and generally tougher bosses.
If you have access to piracy, you CAN decrypt both ROMs and put the English script in the JP 1.0 ROM, but you will be unable to use DLC I believe.
