Yes, in terms of story, there is an initial and altogether surface level amount of enjoyment to be had from having a guy who is "ANGRY GUY" who "IS GONNA KILL EVERYONE EVER AGGGHHHHH" but do not fucking lie and act like Kratos was ever a character worth caring about beyond seeing more destruction. Don't act like you were endeared to him on any real level like you can be with Dante, or Kazuma. And I'm not saying either of those series are fucking Norwegian Wood, but at least I can say I'd give a shit about plenty of characters from both if they died. I cannot say that about GoW after playing three and a half games of it.
I feel like I'm in an alternate fucking universe where /v/ bizarrely gives a shit about this lackluster, QTE-filled, cinematic, edgy-as-fuck, Square Square Triangle bullshit series, without a hint of levity or fun to it's characters and world.
