Cross System was perfect. Answered all the flaws of the Style Change system (you can have more than two Styles and you can switch between them freely in battle) and you can extend how long you could use them for with Navi Cust blocks (though if you played your cards right, you never needed more than three).
Normally, it was ideal to center your deck around one Cross, but there was nothing stopping you from doing what you wanted.

It wasn't. It was the most annoying game in the series. Even taking the most quickest most straightforward route possible, it still always took forever to get from Point A to Point B. All the story missions were incredibly obnoxious and forced endless backtracking. The game constantly forced you to equip undesirable NaviCust programs like Press or DarkLicense. It had literally the worst maps in the entire series. The net always looked the fucking same no matter where you went with the exception of the Undernet.
MMBN3 had a shitton of flaws and I never want to play it again.

Compare BN3's internet which is an endless grey road to BN2's, which is always different depending on the area you're in.
Let me tell one example of why BN3 is irritating. The quickest route to the Undernet is to take the train to Yoka, jack in to Tamako's PC, use the teleporter to get to Seaside Area, get to Hades Area, have Press equipped, and then finally you're there. And you have to do this CONSTANTLY because near the end of the game, you're gonna be going to the Undernet a lot, but you also have to go to other places too. So the end of the game is an endless cycle of going to Yoka, jacking into Tamako's PC, going through Seaside and Hades Area and keeping Press equipped at all times. That shit is annoying as fuck.
Also, the worst thing, the ABSOLUTE WORST THING in that game was BubbleMan's mission. Literally the worst thing in the entire series.

The only thing i want is online capable battle network like starforce but with the classic mechanics. Also I finally got around to starting the anime and I guess its ok so far but it has a bad habit of pulling a "shining finger ok episode is over" so far.
