yeah, why hasnt there been a proper open world pirate world yet? imagine the possibilities of a pirate mmorpg. some islands could spawn loot which would be dug deep into the sand, and everyone gathered and fought each other while trying to find the treasure. you start out by washing the decks of some neets ship and slowly rank up. or you could work as a blacksmith and make weapons to sell. so many possibilities. I hope it happens in my life time

One of the solo boats has a single forward mounted cannon that you can fire while steering apparently.
