I think the furniture is too limited. Even though the style creator took forever to open up it gave you a lot more freedom.
And I'm not a huge fan of the new social system. It's really hard to tell if my sims like each other or hate each other because they don't really emote when they talk.

I cant help myself but to constantly fall into this weird playstyle in Sims 4 where I get one sim, earn those whim points or whatever to buy the age reset potion and I just play through normally and stock up on 1-3 of them.
I eventually get married and have a kid, then the kid has a kid and soon I have a great grand child and then I use my original/main Sim and fuck the shit out of the great grand child since apparently Sims 4 doesn't mind Great Grand Parent/Great Grand Child being fuck buddies and getting married.
I end up continuing this cycle of fucking my great grand children until my family tree has multiple repeating faces and everyone is basically a half sister/brother to their grand parents somehow.
This has gotten even easier now to do since they added the option to just change the gender of your Sims in-game so if a great grand child comes out male when I need a female to continue my incest cycle, just throw Him in the bathroom, He comes out a Woman and gets knocked up by her great grand pappy.
I can't help myself. Like no matter what I do with my Sims, it ends up having this "experiment" going on in the background.

Pic related is a small shopping centre at the top floors of an apartment building. The ground floor contains a grocery store and gym, while the six floors in between hold three apartments. The mall floor has a small police station with holding cell, a clothing store, a game store and another grocery store, and the top floor is a small nightclub.

I really don't think it's a matter of hardware. I run it on an SSD w/ 24GB of RAM and an R9 280X. It's not a $3,000 computer, but it's far more than what I should ever need to run a game released in 2009, and it's still prone to stuttering.

It's single-core, 32-bit, and built with DirectX and a very inefficient AI. This means all GPU calls are first dispatched to the CPU, everything is done in one thread, and you've got a hard cap of 4GB memory usage.
Short of buying a fucking quantum computer, you'll see no gains in performance over even a 6 year-old toaster, and even then, the improvement would be marginal at best.
