Why won't they just localize it?
During E3, they talked about how they localized Dragon Quest 7 due to fan demand.
There is HUGE fan demand for Mother 3, the twitch stream was full of people yelling for Mother 3.
So what gives?
I realize this is probably a dead topic on /v/, but I've only been here 2 or 3 times.
I never heard Nintendo's reasoning on why, or if they've said anything at all.....hmm.
Because it's almost ten years old? Imagine if people were bitching in 2006 for a 1996 PS1 jrpg that didn't get localized. Just be happy there's a fan translation.

Mother 1 had an official translation since the early 90s. They just chose not to release it at the time.
