Hello. I wanted to say that, while I have played Bloodborne (finished it in a little bit less than 40 hours), I don't actually have PlayStation 4 of my own. I have been meaning to buy one for quite some time now, despite the fact that only some games take my attention. I do have the monetary capacity to buy one right now, but I know waiting for the new model is the right things to do.
I also consider buying the NX mainly for the new Zelda game, which actually looks fun considering they decided to go Open World (I'm not a big fan of this kind of games, because most of the time I get bored; last open world game I greatly enjoyed was Dragon's Dogma, but I'm all in for the medieval fantasy setting). The other game I wanted to try was the last Smash Bros, now I'm only guessing the new console will be retro-compatible as all the other consoles were with their predecesor (I wish this was the case too for the NX handheld, but I know that's too much to ask for <gotta play that SMTs>).
Lastly, I feel like I should address the Xbox One and the Project Scorpio, but I honestly can't think of a reason why I would buy one of these, considering that I can play most of the games that interest me on Windows 10. I understand why they are doing what they are doing, but I still feel kind of disappointed that there's nothing worthwhile on the Xbox.
How about you? Do you already own a PlayStation 4? Are you interested in buying the new revision in the slightest? I understand most wouldn't. Would recommend someone to buy the console right now or wait for [maybe] a whole other year to get the new one?

So long as closed ecosystems are preferable to developers (they are), consoles will continue to exist and developers will be forced to buy them. There is no circumstance in which tens of millions of people who play games will migrate to pcs unless one of the console makers finds a way to make a closed system on someone else's hardware. So far, it seems downright impossible because pcs require too many software and hardware components beyond their scope of control.
