Mind is when I was clearing out Caesar's camp with Boone, and the last place to take care of was Caesar's tent. His Praetorian Guard, I decided, would be too much to take on normally.

I love role playing as a NCR or desert ranger, so I usually enjoy siding with the NCR the most. Did an unarmed Legion character once though and followed the Legion's rules. That was pretty fun. Because it's a well-written, complex game with memorable characters, quests, and functional RPG elements. It's overarching narrative design is some of the best in video games, bar none, and the elements that aged are far outweighed by those that didn't. I mean, you can play through different quests in so many different ways, even if only superficially, that it practically invites this kind of long-term attention.
I can't play F3 or F4 without realizing that Bethesda fundamentally misunderstands the premise, themes, and content of the Fallout game universe and has little to no respect for the RPG genre or their fans' attention spans or ability to play a fucking video game. It's just depressing.
FNV just pays so much respect to the Fallout IP and its fans that it's timeless to me, even though it's a buggy mess sometimes and has obvious failings - like the lack of Legion content.

theres a mod that adds ramps so you can get up there and adds a shit ton of stuff to do/find up there. mostly just bad guys
