On twitter they confirmed it's the same engine as the first game and they're using dedicated servers instead of Microsoft's azure thing.
Also all the Map dlc is free and the smart pistol is back (with changes)

I too want to see how it runs on my 2GB 770. Titanfall 1 ran pretty well, constant 60FPS. This game will not require windows 10 either
