The only western Devs we see doing cringy bullshit is Bioware and Pixel shit indie devs
They did it with Dragon Age, Mass effect, and SWTOR.
devs in the 90s and early 2000s seemed pretty chill. And had an actual love for it.
Just seem like most devs try to hard be part of the community and whined up bieng stuck in a gaming cultural bubble. Ironicly making then less gamers and more like people chasing a fad.
Maybe why there so disconnected from actual core gamers?
