April's character was great in Dreamfall.
I liked that Ragnar seemed to be going further as a storyteller, with Dreamfall's story being based on a connecting theme (faith, and reasons to be) than just a pure good story.
Sadly Chapters seems to be a massive step-back in this regard, without the fun fairy-tale story of TLJ.
Still, I just have to know how it ends.

Syberia 1 manages to compress all of what made adventure games worth playing in to something far less annoying and petty than the so-called greats of the genre.
In a way it's what Chrono Trigger is to RPGs, or Duke (the Genesis album) is to prog music: not as complex or "epic" as others, but it has the magic in a pure form.
The sense of adventure and magic as you explore the (very limited) areas is far more than even more expansive games. Running along the canal,with the city next to the university, still destroyed since WW2...The salt storms at the hotel...And with half the characters they're much more memorable. And Hans is such an interesting character to chase.
The Longest Journey is just so overblown.
