That said, the dungeons and boss battles are varied and interesting. They would have been much better with actually decent combat. Once you've seen the endings, though, there's not much reason to play again.

The graphics are obviously not up to today's standards and we can both (I hope) agree that it doesn't look as good as your average Ps4/Xbone/PC game with a decent budget.
The characters are barely explored at all. They just a bunch of missfits cliches that say their one liners to give you an understanding of what kind of character they're, but they barely go any further than that.
The setting is your average "the whole is fucked", except this time is somehow even more unbelivable stupid and I'm supposed to accept there is suddenly only one woman left for some reason. The story is just this guy being a fucking retard and seeking redemption for himself by protecting a girl that isn't even his own (cuck) and this girl throwing a "I want to be useful and be impregnated yada yada" being a huge annoyance, all while they have to throw a "the drug that made everything into monsters is Joy and MC turns into what at the end, what a TWEEEST" as an ending as if I'm supposed to give a shit by a character I barely know for 5-6 hours.
The tone and humor of the game is laughlable. First you have a character being as "LOLsorandom" as possible when you recruit him and saying dumb, unfunny and stupid shit and minutes later you're assault by the biggest "nothing personnel" edgelord in the world that for the most bullshit retarded reason ever wants to make you suffer.
The gameplay starts as your average RPG (you gain party members, level up, buy shit etc) and has a nice twist to it with the input system, but sadly that goes nowhere since a lot of your characters don't even have it and your skills are eventually arranged as a shortcut once you level up enough. Not to mention the game sometimes throw little, pointless minigames at you like the unavoidable and completely pointless russian roulette (which you can do nothing about and can actually lose everyone to the RNG god).
I could also mention the lackluster level design and short game length.
