>The shills for the POS
KYSelves. This doesn't feel like a horror film, I just feel like an asshole running around the woods.
>>341455023
I played with friends and Its tense as fuck. Were all in a skype call and rotated between the killer.
Had a horror movie moment earlier where i thought I had outrun him and then turned around and he was about 2 feet away from me. Fucking lost my shit.
The game is tense as fuck but only if you have friends to play with.
If you don't have friends then stop being a fucking loner.
I think the game devs tried to emulate a horror movie feeland succeeded because slasher films aren't scary at all.
>>341455323
Tension leaves after a couple of games though because you know exactly what to do and how much you can mess with the killer if he's not very good
>>341455023
All the game needs is for more people to have the Insidious perk.It lets Killers not make the heart-beating sound if they stand still
It's hide and seek: Spooky Edition
And that's alright for me
The tension and fear comes from the other players.
JUST
>>341455323
I disagree. This game is best played with randoms.
Dumb team mates lines up with dumb victims in horror movies. You don't even need the other survivors alive to win. The objective is for you to survive. Be an asshole or a hero, as long as you make it out you're fine.
They nerfed the fuck out from all survivor's items and made rank and bloodweb progression grindy as fuck.
>>341457254
>Hillybilly charging
>Can't steer
So does every killer still have to sacrifice you in order to win? The hillybilly trailer showed that he can kill people himself
>>341458401
No, that was a memento mori animation. Killers can't kill by themselves without it.
>>341458306
I have 8 hours played and I haven't even seen a toolbox yet. Which is fine because kinda ruined the game.
>>341455023
will pic related be a better version?

What programs do you use to record at a good quality without raping the CPU usage?
Fraps and afterburner are just no good
>>341458851
I like that there are actual houses and not everything looks like a copypasted asset

>Jason can teleport
>multiplat
No
My biggest gripe with DBD is that you either have to have a full game with friends or be alone. I'd be nice to be able to join a game with one friend
>>341458851
Hard to say
I played the DBD beta and the game managed to get a nice balance in terms of means of escape and map size even though playing as the trapper was hard as fuck because of slow animations and window exploit
Friday the 13th seems like the opposite, with a huge map and the ability to teleport in front of people instantly without the player having time to react
Jason also has 3rd person view so the game is more on the killer's side
>>341457254
lol that wasfunny/looked fun
A video from the killer and the survivor perspective, if anyone cares

yea yea shill etcno bully pls
>>341459209
well its early alpha so im sure it will be balanced somehow, just looks like proof of concept
If you watched the movies he does kinda appear without actually catching up
>>341457254
>me and another survivor open the gate
>both run out
>killer gets me right before I get free
>I die and the other two people left alive escape
I haven't escaped yet as a survivor
maybe next time Claudette
>making a thread about a game to give attention to a game you don't want to get more attention as a deterrent to others making threads about a game that you don't want to gain attention
Excellent strategy OP. If this isn't next-level countershilling I don't know what is.

gotta love fags like you.

I think of DBD as an arcade like experience. You can easily hop in and play for a few sessions and stop.
F13 seems like a more refined experience that demands more dedicated time put into it.
They're both different styles of gameplay and worth trying. I think they can easily co-exist
>>341458980
OBS is what I use.
I stream my footage though.
>>341461151
>They're both different styles of gameplay and worth trying.
They also work very differently despite the concept being so similar
In Friday the 13th for all we know you're screwed the moment Jason is behind you or gets you because you can simply die like that
That doesn't encourage teamwork at all because sticking together only means more kills for Jason
In DBD a team that works together will make the killer's job impossible and that's a problem that needs to be solved because it's too forgiving
>>341461151
>co-exist
no but really i like asymmetrical multiplayer games
i did like evolve but the dlc and updates ruined the game
>>341461826
>In DBD a team that works together will make the killer's job impossible and that's a problem that needs to be solved because it's too forgiving
That's the thing do, with lack of communication and no friends teaming up, they can't really coordinate.
It works fine right now. Fear when they add party mode
>>341462241
Being a killer is a big pain in the ass anyways
In order to balance it they made it slightly faster than the player when sprinting but with huge slowdowns and easily cheeseable with pallets and windows
Plus people can heal other people even without medikits and it takes 1 second to unhook a person, people can do it literally in front of the killer
