As shitty as the culmination of the story was in ME3, and how your choices were completely pointless, the game itself played fine, and I enjoyed the side-missions, and some of the character centric things.
I also played ME1 and ME2 multiple times, again, enjoying the character stuff/exploring.
So to hear this new game is no way tied to the shit ending of 3, has a huge influence on planet exploring (Again, had a lot of fun with that in ME1, even with how limited it was. The planet with the binary red/blue stars was awesome), and character interactions, kind of have me interested.
