Darksiders hat pretty cool bosses, dont know about D2 i never completed that Game.
Portals boss was also pretty cool for being such an unique concept and setting, gameplay and personality wise.
Banjo Kazooie/Tooie had good bosses too.

How could i forget The Binding of Isaac?
I really loved Zeno Clash, the game as a whole is not that good but it got this eerie feeling all the way through and Father-Mother fits really good gameplay and story wise as last boss.
Say what you will about Bionic Commando but the bosses are atleast decent gameplay wise but what really sells them are the logical integration of the Bionic Arm.
Also the last boss has a "Shut Up" button, when you retry you can tell the boss to fuck off before repeating his speech. One of the coolest Features no one used ever.

I don't remember a lot but feel like Crysis boss was absolutely UNsatisfying

The bosses arent great yeah but i couldnt think of a better way to portray a threat in a game where you a supersoldier. Crysis has stellar World/Level Design and undeniably one of the best pacing and gameplay diversity for a shooter thats trys to cater to the masses.
I just love Crysis for the dynamic everything compared to the static bullshit that a CoD. Battlefield is too Micheal Bay'e for me also you cant play the campaign of the beaten path.

This video was uploaded in 2007, most of these points are valid today. Crysis gets more flak than it deserved it was not perfect by any means but in many ways it was and is superior to games this date.

DEHR bosses could be good in another games
KNOW THIS BROKEN ONE.The fight itself was mediocre but the design and concept of fighting your mortality is the coolest thing I've seen in a western game.
