Heather was the best personality and one of the best female protags ever. From a story standpoint James was the best, since everything affected by his backstory made perfect sense. I disregard anything post 4.

It is pretty cool isn't it? I played it for the first time not to long ago despite having played all the others first and was very surprised at how relatively advance some of musical and atmospheric (for lack of a better word) 'systems' are. How things grow or decrease in intensity as you progress through a situation and how some of the ambient sounds still hold up. If you can adjust to the controls it's still a great game.It's a shame my game bugged out during a certain boss fight and I never finished it though :(
