The Demo Wii U's were locked away.
They'd literally have to go behind the demo area, where there IS a security, and break open the lock to access the Wii U inside, at which point the demo would be down and Nintendo reps would obviously go and check on it.
I don't know if the tumblr shitter is just doing this for attention or they're batshit insane, but the demo's fine.
