The original mount and blade was a product of autistic love, and that's why it was great.
All of the sequels were just cash ins and motivated by money, but unfortunately the developers are horrible at coding and art and game design so it ended up crap. The devs have always been shit, it's just that they had enough attention to detail to carry the first project through to not being garbage, barely

seems like they didnt do anything about the clunky ass controls and godawful ai and just made the textures slightly prettier

As a consolefag this gen I will be playing this, the first one plays on toasters, noone has any excuse for not trying it, this one isnt much different if the appearance is anything to go by.I will actually upgrade if it requires it though, this is one of few PC exclusives worth going out of your way for.

Mount and Blades greatest strength is that normies can't stand how it looks. I'm still amped about Bannerlord, these games may not be perfect but no other game gives you the same experience.
