Ok around the early 90's Sega had about 50% of the console market in US and dominated Europe. And was doing lots of bad decisions like Sega CD and 32X where were just add-ons to the Genesis. So in 1995 or 6 forgot which they decided to go on stage and said "the Sega Saturn is ready to buy right now in stores" since they never gave a launch window before it took everyone by shock. Consumers hated it because it was only in certain stores and since they were given no real time frame they couldn't save the money to buy it. Developers hated it because they wasn't told when it was launched and most of their games wasn't ready. It was a complete mess and considered one of the worse gaming decisions ever made.
My question on definition is more about what is he talking about. Worse in cringey or worse as a messaging thing or worse in nothing went right.
