The single best way to clear out a bastion with a reinhardt and a mercy supporting him with a torb+turret somewhere nearby is to group up and rush them and have a zenyatta or lucio use their ult while 1-2 of your attackers use their ult, preferaby someone like a genji, roadhog, or reaper. All while behind your Reinhardt's shield of course. Or use Zarya, because if you use her ult to fuck the bastion trio while lucio uses it's guaranteed to wipe their combo unless your team is complete shit. If you have a Zarya you can shield your reaper while he goes for his Death Blossom ult as well.
If they have a Torb your Genji or Pharah should make it their priority to kill that little shit and his turrets. Genji is surprisingly good at assassinating inattentive torbs. Without him the turret is a sitting duck to Genji peeking with his shurikens.
If your team is shit (thanks, forced 50%) you are fucked since you'll only ever be able to take out the torb or the bastion-reinhardt-mercy combo and never both at once.

Comes down to how good at tracer you are, Pharah does 120 on a direct hit and if you're taking two of those in a row with all your mobility and her projectile speed you may need to practice more.
D.Va is good for hunting down 200hp class enemies, finishing off stragglers, and using her ult to area deny. Unfortunately she takes a long time to do this compared to other heroes which is why shes a tank class, she takes a lot of hits and thats a problem in high tier games when your headshot hitbox is the size of a house. From playing a lot of both classes you can do essentially the same thing with tracer much faster while avoiding a lot of damage and having a far more direct and reliable ult that wont just give you 3 seconds of free capping

The fact that I can also bring up lots of anecdotical evidence where some Dva has tried similar stuff and failed horribly due to the reactions I've talked about in my posts
If you start going into how people are going to react based on your play then it's theorycrafting, and you can't really assume anything but best realistic reaction from them. So, not necessarily them always headshotting your team instantly, but at least not them starting to unload into the shielding tank while his team is sneaking past the chokepoint. Of course it does happen sometimes that they just fuck up, but if you're playing against good players it won't happen often or consistently

This, two different tanks or two different supports is perfectly fine. Symmetra in particular almost needs to be paired with a "real" healer. Just today I had someone outright quit the game because I picked lucio after they picked symmetra. The extra shields on everyone along with lucio's constant healing is a godly combo. Lucio and mercy is good as well; she can do a lot more damage boosting if she doesn't have to constantly heal everyone's chip damage.

A problem with mobility is that once you're there, you need to do something. D.Va's damage is pretty shitty unless you're standing right beside someone.

I want to enjoy this game so much more, I really do. But it seems like every team I get matched with has a Widowmaker who literally shuffles back and forth the entire match, only to get one shot by someone seconds later. Or, two people that will pick Genji/Hanzo and absolutely refuse to switch, regardless of what our team actually needs.
I've also noticed it pairs me up against enemy teams that are level 70+ and my team has no one past level 25. What is going on? Does this get better as I get higher level?

The only thing I'd do right now is double the firing rate of the turrets, halving their damage per shot to keep the same DPS. This would make Genji a more reliable counter and allow high-armor characters to more reliably tank a turret.
I usually pick Pharah exclusively to deal with the little shitlord keebler elf, but it can go either way. The beat feeling is forcing the shithead player to switch because I keep killing his turret and him while he hammers at it like a moron.

First, you need to put your initial turret in a more defensible area. Try and put it around a corner where it'll take people by surprise instead of having it sit right out in the open. Example: initial point on Numbani. I usually put it in the side-room around the corner to the right of the main attack route. This lets it cover the point and the main flanking route without it being out in the open to be easily cut down.
Second, don't underestimate the value of simply plopping down turrets in the middle of a fight. Yeah it's only 150 health and 28 dps but that's 28 dps of auto-targeting fire for free, and if an enemy is busy trying to shoot it then he's less busy trying to shoot someone else and vice versa. Then if you wipe the enemy team you can put down another turret in a more optimal area and upgrade it.
Finally, you have a gun. Use it. Again, the more an enemy is focusing on your turret the less he's focusing on you, and vice versa. Take advantage of it.

Armour packs will top off any armour you have.
Armour and shields will also heal from health packs and healers, armour reduces damage by 5% I think but shields regenerate.
If you have both shields and armour it stacks as
Health > armour > shields, which is crazy good for Zenyatta.

I also have trouble killing turrets because they'll be on your ass and kill you in 2 seconds before you even know where you are, since they seem to have perfect accuracy for some reason. Your best bet as Pharah is to boost up, E the Torb away from his turret, and if you're still alive, peek out from behind a wall while shooting 3-4 rockets at the turret.

If your team has ult advantage you'll wreck torb and his turret in no time at all, if you don't you bait out the molten core then fall back for the 12s duration to build ult. Not saying 12 seconds isn't a lot of time, and if the attackers have overextended then yeah, they're getting fucked sideways by the turret, but it's pretty common sense not to push in unless you've baited out molten core, killed torbjorn, or have your own ults up.
