Difference is you can do way more in zelda and be more creative about accomplishing things because what you can do don't seem to have strict limits.
Horizon seems like it has certain way you can go about doing things and you have to play that way. Just look at the newest gameplay and see that it gives you these huge glowing helpers and the chick keeps talking about what she/player should do next.
I'd love to be proven wrong when the game comes out though but what they have showed about horizon doesn't seem that promising.

Zelda looks more like an open worldish sandbox game and has some nice quirky features but it's not on the same level of an true action rpg like horizon. Zeldas graphical style/fidelity allows for more creativity which is great and works to it's own strengths, it's not a typicl open world game by any measure, that being said it still is an action game first and foremost where as Horizon is a witcher-3 like rpg with a crafting system that makes it complex is other ways. Both games will be fun.

I like Aloy's design as her hair flows around as she moves, and it looks great, as I've seen from the demo yesterday.
No real comment on the face, since she looks fine to me. I'd like the devs to win me over with her character and story, not just appearance. The game is also still being made so maybe they'll idealize her face if many think she's not pretty.

Everything about this game feels like wasted potential and a total disappointment.
You have giant mecha dinosaurs but they'll just boring mobs and instead you play as a fucking boring squishy human with the same bow that's become ubiquitous in today's modern games.
It's got an unique setting, I wouldn't really call it interesting but it's at least unique with those robot dinos even if it feels very familiar. But is the game rich with atmosphere and lore? Fuck no, we have this dumb cunt blabbing to herself every fucking second of the game telling you how to kill the massive enemy dino by attacking it's weak spot for massive damage.
So in the end all we have in yet another generic third person bow shooting open world game except this time the baddies are robot dinos and you're dressed like a caveman for some fucking reason and your character won't stop nagging you to play it the way she wants you to play it.
