I just checked and can confirm this. It just said "Coming to Xbox One and Windows 10". Could be timed I suppose, or even end up being on Steam. Probably the latter, I doubt it'll be on the PS4 since MS has funded the whole thing.

Dead Rising 3 for a launch game was pretty good. Even with the grit art style, it still had plenty of dead rising aburedy mixed with an overly serious story, and tied up a loose plot end from the first game. At first you think Nick is hispanic as an identity marketing ploy, but the twist involving him ties back to the end of the first game.
But, the game was buggy and once your level 50 you become way too over powered. Also, the mission where you need to go all over the map are annoying minus the last mission.
Dead Rising will probably be more polished. Willowmett is is a big town but it might have gotten bigger since the original outbreak. Be cool to find the gas station that Frank saw get destroyed.

They did way too much to "modernize" DR3, in my opinion. DR2 and particularly OTR managed to strike a great balance between goofy animation-weighted movement mechanics and modern niceties.
That said, I'm really upset that, unless Capcom gets out there and says otherwise, this will be utilizing the shitshow that is UWP on PC.

Agree. The smart glass feature was cool but it was poorly implemented. Still a cool experiment. Air strikes was stupid since most the time there is either a corporate or government conspiracy going on.
Bosses had cool designs and themes but were too easie compared to Adam, the hippie, Cliff, ect.

Nearly all of those are MS Published games and TR has a Win 32 version anyway. Capcom's publishing, so they can sell the game on Steam with UWP like Stardock did with Ashes Of The Singularity.
