The problem with Cage games outside of his adhd storylines is that player driven plots converge very often. If your protag is an android, potentially it would mean allowing for more "permanent" and flexible changes to occur to the storyline. If Connor is destroyed, so what - Detroit Police just unbox another Connor and you hit the next mission. Negotiations daisy chain together forming an overarching plot about some bullshit considerations on the nature of sentience and life, if we're lucky. If David Cage is still David Cage it'll turn into a supernatural bullshit thriller with plot elements thrown in at random with no buildup or fanfare. I might get just because I'm a sucker for crime and detective stories.
