I thought Rockstar never revealed games during E3 and instead do what they want, coming out with reveals when they want. They're one of the few companies in the position to do that. I would've actually been more surprised if they did show anything now. It's more usual of them to come out with a reveal during a quiet period and have everyone in the media exclusively talk about their game.
