The Devil Survivor team was wasted to make this game. Nintendo forced Atlus USA to localize it pushing Persona 5 into 2017 and delaying SMT IV Apocalypse to fall instead of summer.

In reality, Atlus has been very happy with working in Nintendo, and actually are working on transition into a Nintendo exclusive company. The company was very saddened when Nintendo did not purchase them outright, as they had already started workThe Wii U port for Persona 5
Nintendo very much impressed both Atlus and Avex with the title, and both companies involved are very happy with the way the game turned out and will continue to invest in new entries in the series. Merchandise sales are unusually high for an Atlus title, so they're hoping to build up the series as they go along.
