I liked those games don't get me wrong, it's just not a very flattering move to pull in the era of a million other HD remasters.
Also, If it's just a remaster and not a complete remake (graphics and whatnot) the product is going to suffer tremendously.
You know what? I'll buy it just as a figure. Because not only he looks like proper Crash, he may be actually based on the original designs too.
What is making me worry is a background during the Crash Remaster announcement. It looks overly cartoony while the original tended to be more realistic in terms of environments. Well, I hope it'll be okay.

This. It's not some edgy cool-guy tribal-tattooed piece of shit design, it's got an Ace-ventura wacky-antics kinda feel. I mean how the fuck do your tattoo fur anyways, at least this design is wearing high-tops with socks, and actually rolled up pants instead of capris.
As in denial as I'm about to fuckin sound, maaaaaaaaaaybe Skylanders could be an attempt to get some of these characters noticed, Skylanders is already making spin-off games for specific characters on mobile platforms.
NOW going full on indie Niel here, At least kids in this generation will get a Crash Bandicoot that isn't a complete abomination.

Aw, come on, it makes a lot more sense to remaster\remake a 20 years old game than blatantly port the game released 2-3 years ago on PS3. My main gripe is style consistency. They may mess this up thinking that Crash gme supposed to be overly whimsical Looney Toon-esque thing, like assholes from activision back in 2000-s did.
