Watch Dogs 2 looks great and I got motherfucking Grow Home 2 as well, which I am very happy about. A couple cool new IPs too.
Honestly, as far as shit that I am personally hyped for, Ubisoft is winning for me so far this E3.

I think EA was worse only because it was more boring while Ubi managed to entertain me with a few moments of cringe and second-hand embarrassment.
That being said, the focus on VR made me want to vomit. That Star Trek game actually hurt me inside because you could tell LeVarr has never played anything like a modern video game before so this fucking button-pushing simulator with PS2 graphics actually wowed him. Watchdogs 2 was cringey and looked boring as fuck. I almost fell asleep during For Honor gameplay. Fuck the shitty go-pro "lol SSX doesn't exist" game too.
I liked Grow Home and will probably buy Grow Up if it's reasonably priced, memeing aside. Also, Fractured But Whole looks like a complete improvement on Stick of Truth and I will definitely get it.The new Tom Clancy game looks like I could enjoy MGSV's gameplay again without being insulted by the story. Not a buy-on-release title for me. I'll get it cheap a year later.
Everything that I really have been hype for so far was shown off at MS, sad to say, meaning I'm going to have to partition a drive for W10. Fuck.

So it's like a case of the least horrible.
Objectively speaking, Ubisoft's presentation was a reflection of where we're at as a whole in the video game industry. This expo is already making me realize now more than ever that video games are no longer for me. It's just like comic books, DnD, and certain tcg games. They start out niche or relatively non-mass marketed led by the core, devoted audience only to forsake them for the lowest common denominator: casuals with nothing to lose but some side cash. I have bought no Western AAA games nor any under EA or Ubisoft over the past two years. Not out of spite, mind you, but out of complete disinterest. The only thing that keeps me into vidya is the flexibility of the PC as a gaming machine and the comfort and mobility of my 3ds (and to a lesser extent, Vita). Of course I still play a lot of vidya, but its mainly backlog or classics. There's only a handful of actually new games I would play every year. Souls 3, MGSV, and Overwatch (gifted to me) were the only new games I played in the past year. I feel like the gaming world should and could do more with its ever growing resources and influence to create actually exciting games for the gamers out there who actually care about the state of gaming.

However Matt and Trey fucking killed it with season 19 and made hands down the funniest season and episodes of south park in at leadt 5-6 years. Every single episode was great and linked together to form some great meta humor.

Then you have Ubisoft's wild ride. Up until this, the show's had some mild cringe and boring bullshit.
Then they come right out and do a last minute Can't Stop Me Now flamboyant fag show #JUSTDANCING queen show dedicated to the victims of the florida shooting starring a cast of Clockwork Orange and Harlequin Eldar that is so retarded and insane it had my group's voice chat crying from laughter that they actually thought this was a good idea. Then they wheel out Watch Dogs 2 with ^_~ emoticon visors, some open world snowboard/parachuting/wingsuit game, shitty bird combat game. Muh Knights vs Samurai Vs Vikings now including Khayohss. Matt and Trey themselves coming out getting paid to shitpost and make fun of Marvel. Reading Rainbow getting brought out of retirement to remind people he's not dead.
Whether or not you like the Ubisoft games, their entire show was way better than anything anyone else had. Like the southpark segment was great, and I hate the south park games as gameplay goes.
Ubi actually managed to not be complete shit this year.
They were smart and got the cringeworthy Just Dance shit out of the way before most people realised their stream was live.

The new Xbone S is $300 iirc, which made me consider it but I really am just not a fan of playing games on console when I don't have to. Particularly with SoD because there are a couple of nice mods for it and I'm sure the new game will get much more mod support.
Still, for 300 buckaroonies, if you want to play any of the games MS showed off (for me, Scalebound, Sea of Thieves and SoD2 all looked great) that's not a bad deal m8.

No, hitboxes were absolutely awful, gameplay had no variety, you just defend from waves of enemies while your partner does some shit, bosses are shit, Kai Len was shit, everything was shit.
