I actually really like what I've seen of the game thus far.
Though a big problem I have with it is how it sticks to the ubi formula of having to use guns Guns GUNS.
I noticed that the game felt very natural when Marcus was using his Taser and pool ball, but immediately felt overly forced whenever he'd pull out a firearm. 'Fight the power' millennials don't feel like the type of people to be brandishing nines and shooting random bodyguards who at the end of the day just want a nice paycheck.
They should have absolutely went all the way with the non-lethal options, using the new system of 3D printed weapons would allow some creativity in the weapons' look and feel.

As someone who played Watch_dogs and enjoyed it well enough, I am immediately dissapointed. The largest problem with Watch_dogs for me is the fact that Aiden Pearce is just a boring white dude who's only character trait is his grief for a character you never even meet. He has no personality, shaky morals, and a horrible sense of fashion. Now it looks like Watch_dogs 2 is going to have the opposite problem. The characters look like they have so much personality that they become stereotypes. Of course we can't know the intricacies of the characters until the game comes out, but I have no faith at all in Ubisoft writing.
The only cool part of this game is going to be the fight with Aiden Pearce which, if done correctly, will be the "Cerebral Bore" of this game. Other than that, it will be completely mediocre in every way.

As an artist I use DAZ as a drawing reference but some of the latest stuff in the shop is really troubling. Some of the mainline characters (think base models you dress up and give different hair) have become very brown. Even characters that used to be obviously white are now some kind of psuedo-brown. You can apply different shaders and presets to get back the white skin but I find it odd how there has been a big emphasis on "women of color". There is also quite a bit of stuff being released to give women "realistic" body types which is basically code for pear shaped fatties and other ugly attributes.
I don't mind having more options as an artist but there is no denying the shop has took a diversity centric turn away from what used to be primarily beautiful people only, mostly white. Now you have to struggle to find a white character or do a bunch of customization.
