Hey guys remember that one WRPG with the really moving emotional scenes?
Hey guys remember all those jrpgs where literally every single character makes a melodramatic scene every time they emote or speak like how people in real life that have severe autism do?

The amount of emotional charge I get from jrpgs is comparable with the same I got from Naruto.

Girls don't play WRPGs.

Has a video game ever moved you to tears?
A lot of people would cite the Final Fantasy series as an example of this. I don't think you can really find examples in Western RPGs though because they tend to tell stories of political intrigue rather than character-driven or human narratives.
I remember this one scene in The Witcher 2 where some elf guy who was introduced like 10 minutes ago died during a side quest and it had this orchestra music playing and it showed all the little forest creatures walking over to his dying body and all I could think was, am I supposed to give a shit about any of this?

you're biased so theres no point discussing it.

if we're talking the Witcher then this would be a good example
