Likewise, where one person might point out Sony/Microsoft/PC games as dull, one-track minded, artificial, and corporatist - they have had substantial pull for a reason.

And to this day, even though the online play came at a monthly premium when Nintendo's and Sega's online did not cost, Microsoft understood how valuable that delivering the ability to play with friends at just about any time -while simultaneously making that a growing community through marketing- was to their bottom line.

Because personally, I'm a big fan of Nintendo's games (seeing as they're not all brown and bloom), and certainly Sony's and MS' often tend to lack any combination of interest, gameplay polish, cost value, and/or storytelling.
With Nintendo games, I never had to worry holistically about the games (until Neo Nintendo happened).
