Yeah it was ridiculous. I ended up playing so much that I got back problems and had to start lifting and do physiotherapy to get good posture because I was literally walking like Quasimodo
But still, I have never had as much fun in any game that I had in WoW.
I would get home from school. Throw my homework in the trashcan. Log in. Farm gold and fuck around until 19.00 when the raid started. We would then raid for 5 hours. After that I would log out and go to sleep, then repeat that same cycle every day.

Hard to say, really, as back in the day there wasn't really a tool around to keep track of that shit. It's probably either WoW or the original Unreal Tournament for me. All these nights swinging our cocks around in DM-Deck16, going to lan-parties every weekend and carrying that fucking CRT around. I enjoyed being part of the national UT scene, although in retrospect, we probably all behaved like a bunch of dickless spergs.

Star Wars Galaxies, 275 days total whenl I quit with the NGE update when I jumped ship to WoW with friends to Vanilla WoW in November 2005.
240 days total on WoW Vanilla until quitting WoW in early 2009, Friends convinced me to install Steam and then 4000 hours on TF2 before Valve killed it on September 1st 2010.
Shame there hasn't been a game to occupy my time the same way since.

Lets see, I played wow for about 2 years on average, on and off. Averaging about 6 hours a day. Then an average of about 4 hours a day for another year straight on private servers.
6 * 365 * 2 = 4380 hours
4 * 365 = 1460 hours
total = 5840 hours
Thats roughly 243.3 days straight 24/7 game play.
On in relative terms, equivalent to 3 years of 40 hour per week work, with no vacations.
If I had worked during that for minimum wage of about $8/h that would be roughly $46,700(20% tax is around $37360) USD worth of money spent in time. I spent roughly $360 during the 2 year on monthly subscription at about $15/m. I initially bought the game for about $50, then bought BC/Wrath for about I believe $20 or $30. Lets say $50 on average for both. So I spent total of about $100 on game/2 expansions + $360 on 2 years worth of game + the time spent is worth about $37,360.
Total lost value is about $37,820.
Here's the kicker, I didn't even clear BT or Ulduar.
