Except you can't find a out-of-the-box PC, that is sold at basically all stores, that performs as well as a console for the same price. If you want to have any hope of competing price-wise, you have to buy the components and build it yourself - something you don't have to do with a console. But feel free to pay more money and spend more time just to compete with consoles.
