Because it's a musou that means it will be shit, but the fact that it's a DW musou means extra shit. DW has the one of the most braindead, uninteresting combat systems in all vidya. The Sengoku Basara series has a much more solid combat system, but it still gets old really quick because Musou means 200 enemies standing in a circle around you, and every 30 seconds one of them attacks. It's goddamn upsetting.

Black Swordsman was very unpolished and had Guts at his edgelord phase. The Conviction Arc was decent, and I can't fault it for the lack of main story progression as it was a follow up to the Golden Age arc and needed to offer some breathing space. The later Arcs progressed the story more rapidly but lacked grit and melancholic atmosphere and was just shitty. Miura simply doesn't know what he's doing anymore.

The original anime is bad and skips a lot of important story content. The movies are bad and skip a lot of important story content. The upcoming anime will -probably- be bad, but even if it isn't it starts after one of the most important arcs of the manga, it doesn't start from the beginning of the story.

Do you know what a Musou is? The point is to cram in as many playable characters as possible. Look at Hyrule Warriors: Medli and The King of fucking BOATS from Windwaker as well as Marin from Link's Awakening are added as characters.

Its on pc, so obvious choice is to pirate and find out. I bought both fotns kens rage 1 & 2 and as much as I wanted to like a new game from the series, musou games are so fucking repetitive and boring, I assume this game is going the same route. Fucking cashgrab for the new anime
