Nah, I'm one of those "forms shouldn't be separate variations on the character select screen" guys. Goku should have 4 slots with everything accessible while playing, so Kid Goku, DBZ Goku, Super Goku and GT Goku.

Xenoverse 1 was shit and people fail to realize this because "muh Tenkaichi-like gameplay, muh first relatively acceptable DBZ game in years".
In reality as not shitty as it is, it isn't great either. It's bad compared to the PS2 era of DBZ games and Xenoverse 2 won't be much different.
Xenoverse 1 tops Raging Blasts slightly, even if that. And Raging Blast 2 to Raging Blast 1 was a minimal improvement, unlike say Tenkaichi 2 to Tenkaichi 1 or Budokai 3 to Budokai 2.
In reality, Xenoverse 2 will be Xenoverse 1 with more characters. Graphics are still the same for one and that trailer was utter shit. I was hoping the graphics will end up like the Trunks cinematic we saw at the end, but no.
The story is still the same "some purple shits buff enemies you'd normally encounter in a story mode and make them stronger! its totally not the same thing guys!"
The only saving grace of this game will be the ability to change the timeline the way you see fit.
As pessimistic as I sound, I seriously doubt we'd see any major improvements, but I am hoping for a faster Tenkaichi 3 paced combat, with more things to do other than the same 2 types (keyword types) of combos and the shallow gameplay we have now. Where's the beam struggles, the dodging, the zanzoken fast combat, chasing opponents to hit them like in the show etc etc etc. It was done so great in Tenkaichi 3 and I really fucking hated Tenkaichi 3 back in the days, because Budokai 3 was my favorite.
Looking back though, I really hope they implement a lot of stuff from T3, making the game faster and more reflex-based.
Budokai 3's ultimates need to return imo. They actually feel like ultimate super-destruction "fuck your shit up" moves. Ultimates since the PS3 era all look like normal attacks only do more damage to your opponent's health bar.
And last but not least, please make the moves look strong like in Burst Limit. The animations and effects there made everything look like the anime and very strong.

The first game was fucking garbage with some neat ideas sprinkled in. The combat is shallow and awful, unless it's completely revamped this time, then I don't give a shit.
Also, despite dropping last gen consoles, the graphics are still shit and unchanged. Extremely lazy and rushed. I expect minor additions to the combat, customization, and more characters. If they take the combat system from Tenkaichi 3 or Raging Blast 2, then maybe I'd be interested.
Create-Your-Own-Parallel-Quest mode. I think people could come up with some really interesting stories.

Dissidia 012 had something similar. You set up the fights and shit by choosing what enemies appear when, how strong they are, etc, then you basically get to write VN-style "cutscenes" before and after each fight.
XV2 could do something similar, maybe taking it a step further and using the character models during the "cutscenes" and allowing the player the option of having them perform certain emotes when reaching specific lines of dialogue.

Pretty simple. Select the order of maps (Maybe create your own too but I could survive on just accessing the premade ones), your guy loads in, you can set cutscenes to happen and place the characters and shit, maybe some canned animations that you could combine. Then you can set up the battle rules for each room. Kinda like the Doom snapmap thing if I had to come up with a comparison.
