There is also a severe lack of energy weapons in the game. You had a bunch of ballistic weapons of all sizes and fire rates, but you had such a narrow choice of energy weapons. Either rapid-fire fully auto lasers or slow semi-auto plasma.

It's just that every NPC in the game has 3 tag skills and if they aren't tagged in them, then they can't use the weapon.
