Playing Vamps right now and I'm kinda disappointed about the high tier skeleton units. Grave Guard and Black Knights seem so cool and elite, but it somehow feels like they aren't worth it in the campaign.

How did your Vampire Cunt get so strong? I made allies of the humans and by the time I went north (killed all orks first in the south) the Vampires hadn't left their 2 starting provinces.
Anyone else found the AI to be too dumb? Had to download radious mod and currently playing on very hard to make it somewhat challenging.
Its no wonder that people dont think its fun when normal/hard is super easy game modes after the first turns

Also they are like Dwarves when their dosh is taken away and will go to great lengths to get it back.
One fluff element was about a bunch of Dwarves tomb raiding one Tomb King and taking some of his gold. Not to mention taking one of the coins and putting it inside a Dwarven hammer (Dwarves justified it that since TKs are just dem bones and dead, then they don't need any gold).
As you expected, the Tomb King woke up along his army and went to the stunties to get his shit back...and got it including the hammer. And since the hammer was Dwarven, then the Dwarves waltzed in and took it back. But the hammer also had a single coin that was part of the TK's treasury.
The hammer changed ownership non-stop as Dwarves and skellies fought over it non-stop.
And yeah, AoS doesn't exist.
Also I wouldn't say they are irrelevant, but they do go from time to time outside to wreck shit.

It doesnt, it gives you an increased diplomatic penalty and the AI more money which means the AI declares war more often.
Thats it. You can get the exact same effect from playing on very hard or legendary, without completely and utterly ruining the games unit balance.
