Eh, if it's as good as Hyrule Warriors I'll be fine with it, but it does seem like a bit of a waste. The best scenario I can hope for is a campaign that includes a few scenarios from the Golden Age, letting you play as Raiders Guts, Casca, and Griffith, then going up through the rest of the story until you fight Emperor Ganishka as the final boss, with Black Swordsman Guts and the rest of his buddies as playable characters. Maybe with the New Band of the Hawk as characters added to a patch down the line.
The worst case scenario is if they just make the whole damn game set in the Golden Age, forcing you to play as fan favorites like fucking Corkus, with none of the potentially fun characters like Schierke, Isidro, or Serpico.
And although I've never balked at fanservice before in a game, I gotta admit, having the entire reveal trailer consist of showing off how sexy Casca is while she gets groped by a tentacle monster was ridiculously uncomfortable. It's like setting porn music to the rape scene from A Clockwork Orange.
