Depends on your preference, OP. Are you more comfortable with using a controller to move around, or KBM?
Personally, I'd go with KBM, as camera adjustment and gameplay can be much more precisely controlled (with the exception of character movement, one of the sad losses you get at the hands of using WASD-form controls).

I played it on pc with mouse and keyboard for a while before switching to an xbox controller. Things like menu navigation and switching between potions and items and signs are better on m+kb, but almost everything else is better on controller. You should also go into the gameplay settings and switch to alternative movement controlls which make the game more responsive.

Also, parrying with mouse is buggy for some reason, it's not as responsive and fails often. Just parrying.

I liked mouse and keyboard a lot more so I used it for the whole game.
315 hours of mouse and keyboard, no problems whatsoever after using alternate mode

I've played the game extensively with both, mouse and keyboard is easier to control with.

The character movement is clumsy enough with the control stick, but is even worse with KB+Mouse. That said, the combat doesn't need precision by any means, so I still think KB+Mouse is slightly better since you can do actions while moving the camera with ease.
